Madrid · rooms, studios, small flats
A room, a studio or a one-bedroom flat, moved by the person who quoted it. You get the price in writing before the day, and it does not change at the door.
From €120
VAT not included. Madrid city and the southern belt; anything further is worked out per kilometre. Work out your own case in the price calculator.
I do not pack your things for you as standard, I do not sell boxes and I am not a certified installer for gas or plumbing — I move the washing machine and put it in place, I do not connect it. If you need packing done, ask and it goes in the quote as extra hours.
Those are the two weeks of the year when half of Madrid changes flat, because the university year starts and ends. Book earlier than you think, and if your building has a narrow staircase, tell me: in those weeks there is no slack in the day to discover it on arrival.
A room's worth of furniture and boxes is usually €100–160. A one or two bedroom flat runs €180–420 depending on volume, floors and lift. A full van closes at €120 for transport only. Stairs add €5 per floor. I quote the whole job in writing before the day, not an hourly rate.
We do this in writing on WhatsApp. You send photos of the rooms and both addresses, I send back a fixed price. Nothing gets lost in translation and the price stays on your phone.
Boxes packed and closed before I arrive is what keeps the price down, and it is what most people do. If you want me to wrap furniture, take doors off or dismantle a wardrobe so it fits through the door, say so when you ask for the quote and it goes in the price.
Tell me the floor before I quote. Stairs are the single biggest reason a moving price changes on the day, so they go in the number from the start: €5 per floor. A fourth floor with no lift is a real job, not a surcharge I spring on you at the door.
A few days is usually enough, and same-day happens often if I am free. September and June are the tight months in Madrid because of the student intake, so book earlier if you are moving then.
Yes. I am based in Usera, so the southern belt is my everyday patch — Getafe, Leganés, Móstoles, Fuenlabrada and Parla. Further out the price is worked out per kilometre and confirmed before I set off.
